GENGAHR HAVE ANNOUNCED THE DATE FOR THEIR SOPHOMORE ALBUM. ‘WHERE WILDNESS GROWS’ WILL BE RELEASED NEXT MARCH AND GENGAHR HAVE TEASED THE ALBUM WITH A NEW SINGLE ‘MALLORY’.
GENGAHR released ‘Carrion’, a single from an untitled album, just last month and today they surprised fans with an album announcement.
Following on from 2015’s ‘A Dream Outside’, ‘Where Wildness Grows’ is a twelve track LP that will be available in March 2018.
There’s still quite a wait for Gengahr’s loyal fan base but the band were kind enough to share another track from this upcoming release.
‘Mallory’ carries similar vibes to ‘Carrion’, linking the two songs that sit at fairly far apart on the album.
With jangly guitars and that ever familiar Gengahr tone, ‘Mallory’ has a solid sound, it sounds filled, unlike some of Gengahr’s first album tracks, it has a larger soundscape and that shows how Gengahr are evolving as a band.
‘Mallory’, like ‘Carrion’, is a track with plenty of depth and a lot of bulk and that can get any fan excited for the full album.
‘Where Wildness Grows’ is out on March 9th 2018. Listen to ‘Mallory’ below.
