TRASH – 81 (Review)

CHESTERFIELD OUTFIT; TRASH, HAVE DROPPED THEIR NEW SINGLE AHEAD OF THEIR EP. READ OUR VERDICT ON THE TRACK.

TRASH, Chesterfield’s rising stars have released their latest single ahead of their upcoming summer EP.

’81’ is the follow up to ‘Migraines’ and captures the musical elements of summer, jangly guitars, toe-tapping drum beats and glittery melodies. ’81’ is a four-minute indie pop anthem that has a deeper personal meaning buried beneath.

The track showcases elements of dream-pop, a genre that’s connected to most of the bands songs and has given Trash a continuity with their music. The continual development of Trash’s sound, but their ability to make songs sound so different yet similar is one reason why they’re one of the most exciting new bands around at the minute.

’81’ is the perfect track to enjoy this summer and definitely sets the bar high for their upcoming EP.
