Their singles; “Tastes Like Funk” and “W.A.K.E” have both gained a lot of air time and the first hasĀ been played over and over by BBC Radio 1.

Now, unleashing their new single “Iodine”, taken from last years debut, I Set The Sea On Fire are ready to take over 2017.

“Iodine” is a soft melodic track, which uses the combination of both male and female vocals to create beautiful harmonies.

The guitar softly picks away throughout the song, before twanging on darker notes that change the whole vibe of the song.

“Iodine” has a more pop element to it, it sounds like a blend of bands like, Of Monsters and Men and Bears Den.

The timing of “Iodine” release couldn’t be more perfect, as I Set The Sea On Fire are set to play Liverpool Sound City, Tramlines and Great Escape Fest.

“Iodine” will be released Friday, June 9th. Listen to I Set The Sea On Fire’s debut album here.
