THE CURIOUS – ELECTRIC SHEEP (Review)

THE CURIOUS HAVE FINALLY RELEASE THEIR DEBUT EP. READ WHAT WE THOUGHT.

JANGLY indie pop, melodic vocals and catchy infectious lyrics can only mean one thing: The Curious have released their debut EP.

“Electric Sheep” is a five track EP that kicks off The Curious’ music career perfectly.

The London based five-piece have been working on this EP for some time, and it’s definitely worth the wait.

The swagger of “Gentlemen” emulates early 00’s guitar music and captures the essence of bands like Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks.

CITY LIGHTS: The Curious

“Be With You” and “Better Than That” are indie anthems and make any listener want to get up and dance. The Curious have created something that will stick in your head and have you singing the lyrics all day.

“City Lights” resembles early Strokes music, with a chorus that pops with melody and verses that are tight and well produced, it shows just how good this band really is.

“Illusion” ends the EP and continues the sound that The Curious have tried to capture upon this 20 minute release. The guitars explode towards the end of this song in a thrashy floor-filler way, bringing the EP to an almighty close.
