PREVIEW: CAPE CUB AT HOUSE OF BLAH BLAH

CAPE CUB ARE HEADING TO MIDDLESBROUGH, READ AN ADVANCED PREVIEW HERE.

CAPE Cub are playing an intimate show at one of Middlesbrough’s most exciting venues this March.

The four piece indie pop band have been growing both locally and nationally since starting out back in 2014.

Their string of releases, which include pop anthems like “Swim” and”Keep In Mind” have received love from the likes of BBC Introducing and music magazine giant DIY.

Their sound is something different, it has lo-fi elements intertwined with big melodies and explosive choruses. Cape Cub’s live performances have resonated throughout the UK and helped them to build a loyal and loving fan base.

Now, they are returning (sort of) home, to play a special gig in Middlesbrough. The event is held at The House of Blah Blah, which is a multi-purpose creative space and has held various events from art galleries, gigs and even nights out.

Support for the night comes from Hartlepool rising stars Para Alta, a band who have featured on BT Sport’s music playlist and reached over 24,000 listeners on Spotify.

Their singles “New You” and “Feel It” are infectious indie delights and when played live can make any listener get up and dance.

Tickets for the event can be found here.

The gig takes place on Saturday March 4th.
